As an automotive supplier DENSO is leading in developing and providing components and systems for heating, air conditioning, motor cooling, exhaust gas aftertreatment, automotive electrics and electronics and instrumentation.
We are looking for a capable Specialist (m/f) for Production Engineering- Industry 4.0/ Internet of Things/ Smart Factory.
As Specialist (m/f) for Production Processes in our department Production Innovation Centre you will conduct research on new innovative production systems in Europe for industry 4.0 as well as implement new production systems in our European plants.
In detail you will:
(1) conduct research on innovative production systems in Europe in connection with our Japanese factories:
analyzing the current DENSO’s production systems and conducting benchmark studies
joining the on-going R&D projects with DENSO and German institutes (Fraunhofer, DFKI etc) about industrial automation, Internet of Things (IoT), Factory 4.0, Smart Factory
coordinate research work with the institutes in the area of industry 4.0 taking our European plants interests into consideration
initiating R&D activity, having a strong influence on roadmap with the institute
coordinating future R&D activity together with our European and Japanese headquarter
(2) implement new production systems in our European plants:
analyzing the challenges of DENSO European plants (Hungary, Czech, Italy, Spain) from automation and IT point of view
creating concepts for a new production system in our European plants
supporting manufacturing engineers to apply the new production processes in their plants
Engineering degree (electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or automotive engineering) with a focus on production system engineering/ automation engineering
several years profound professional experience in manufacturing industry and additionally knowledge about industrial automation of advantage
deep knowledge on factory automation IT as well as about the Manufacturing Execution System (MES)
passion for innovation
very good judgement ability and strong communication skills
high analytical thinking
ability to work on your own but you should also be able to work in an international team
You will work within an international and highly diverse and multi-cultural organization on a day-to-day basis. A very good level of English and German ability both written and verbal will be needed. In this role you will be expected to undertake regular business travel. Therefore a driver’s license class B is necessary.
