We are looking for interested students to join our team for 6 months or longer in Electric Engineering as an Intern or Working Student. You will be based at our Engineering facility in Eching, near Munich. This is one of our strategic engineering centres and provides a range of capabilities including in vehicle testing of air conditioners, climatic and acoustic chambers, component test benches and a state of the art wind-tunnel. This centre also specialises in prototype preparation and is the location of our European material testing laboratory and the home of our European Technical Research team.
As an intern for our Electric Engineering department you will support us with the development of Mild Hybrid E-Machines and Mild Hybrid Power Electronics as well as with control development for electric components. Furthermore you will set up test benches and start operating them. As well you will support our Engineers with vehicle and component tests. You will analyse and validate the test results and create technical presentations.
You will be currently enrolled in a course of Engineering (Electrical / Electronic, Mechatronics, Automotive) or similar and have a very good command of German and English both written and spoken (business language is English). You have a valid driver’s license (class B) and you are a proficient user of MS Office Products (especially Word, Excel, Power Point). Programming Skills with C are welcome. You are likely to have dedication and creativity, quick comprehension, a reliable and correct working style as well as a good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
